Confessions of a Lazy Hmong Woman
A lazy Hmong woman is not supposed to exist. A lazy Hmong woman is like a vegan omelet, a virgin Long Island Iced Tea, or perhaps a poor person of color who is a Republican. This performance piece charts one woman’s journey as she discovers The Rules for Being Good Hmong Girl, how to balance being a feminist and having a relationship with a Hmong man, as well as lessons learned from the not-so-lazy women in her life. The show, re-mixed in the Hmong language and now featuring an ensemble cast, has limited headsets with English translations for those who wish to the join the adventure.

$5.00 for students 18 and under/seniors 55 and older (show ID)
$15 at the door
Group rates available: $10.00 per person with 6 or more per group
Free childcare at all shows. RSVPs are helpful but not necessary.
English translations available for Miskas people and Hmong kids who don’t speak Hmong.
